Pre-Trial
Even long before trial, we have much to offer in litigation support services. Our video department can shoot and/or manage your video depositions, ensuring quality and accessibility to these assets during pre-trial motion practice. We are recognized as experts in the preparation of technology tutorials and claim construction presentations for patent cases, teaching the court about complex issues in simple and direct ways. Hearings on summary judgment, class certification, temporary restraining orders and disqualification are so important that it is very nearly malpractice to go without a well developed and compelling courtroom presentation.
Jury Study
Focus Groups, Jury Studies and Mock Trials have become de rigueur for larger cases and are an important step in the development of communication strategies for trial. We can help you develop the presentation techniques - the stories, the metaphors, the graphics and animations - and work with your jury consultant to incorporate questions that will provide the feedback we need to sharpen our approach. We will handle all of the audio and video logistics inherent in the presentation, monitoring and recording of the jury research project.
Trial
We go to trial many times each year in cases involving taxes, contracts, divorce, medical malpractice, patent infringement and product liability. Though based in Dallas, we travel from California to New York and Florida to Alaska. We are experienced in all venues: county, state, probate, bankruptcy and circuit courts as well as the International Trade Commission. We handle every facet of idea generation, designing graphics, setting up the technology and presenting demonstratives in court. Barnes & Roberts is a true partner and advocate for your client.
